About the Role:
We are looking for ways to unlock the hidden potential within our business with data-driven analysis. You'll be part of the team to navigate spreadsheets and transform raw data into actionable insights. Your spreadsheet abilities will illuminate inefficiencies, reveal hidden trends, and guide us towards smarter decisions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Data Analysis:
Wrangle and manipulate data from various sources, including spreadsheets, databases, and other systems.
Perform complex data analysis using powerful formulas and pivot tables.
Create compelling visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that tell the story hidden within the data.
Process Improvement:
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Design and implement efficient workflows using spreadsheet automation tools.
Develop clear and concise documentation for new and optimized processes.
Train and support colleagues on using spreadsheets effectively.
Problem-Solving:
Tackle business challenges head-on using your analytical skills.
Develop data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and boost performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and measure their impact.
You'll Thrive If You Have:
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
Proven expertise in advanced spreadsheet functions and formulas (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros, etc.).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to share your findings with diverse audiences.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve in data analysis and technology.
Bonus Points for:
Experience with data visualization tools.
Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
Experience with process improvement methodologies.
