Position Overview:
We have a need for a Business Solutions Group Intern to help meet additional expansions in our client offerings. This position will join an already successful team to take client service to the next level. A student with both business and technical acumen who has shown to be self-motivated with a desire to grow will fit perfectly with us. Essential Functions:
- Participate as a member of the Business Solutions Group team in client, business, or internal meetings.
- Effectively elicit and document business requirements for software development projects.
- Coordinate project work streams between business users and IT teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, including process optimization, risk mitigation and technology utilization.
- Ability to write and perform functional tests as well as user acceptance tests for applications and business processes.
Requirements:
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of Microsoft VSTS or Cloud environments a plus.
- Knowledge of Atlassian suite or other team/project collaboration tools a plus.
- Must be able to work independently on projects and within a remote team environment.
- Ability to execute assigned projects within established deadlines.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute.
The Team: Myers and Stauffer takes pride in the welcoming and collaborative culture we have throughout our offices. For this position, the intern will report to one of our Managers or Senior Managers and will be assigned a team member as a Peer Contact.
Work Style: Our general business hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, but can vary based on business needs. As a company, we are always willing to discuss potential flexibility that an employee may need to better suit their work-life wellbeing.
