THE OPPORTUNITY
Join Scholastic's technology team as a Business Process Analyst Intern, helping to build the next generation of Scholastic business processes that reach teachers, students, and parents across the world. Scholastic is seeking candidates to develop, optimize and improve business processes that remove workflow-waste and improve the quality of product data. This candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, data models, and data governance rules. Additionally, the candidate will perform process capability studies and data analysis to achieve operational excellence, perform regular quality checks on various processes, and ensure new processes are meeting project goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own certain platform features that manage product data on the STIBO/STEP application and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for those features.
- Primary process support lead for certain lines of business within Scholastic to prioritize feature updates and enhancements.
- Draft user stories for feature updates and enhancements using SDLC methodologies, e.g., Agile best practices.
- Attend and participate in all Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with PMDM development and Data Services engineering teams on requirements for feature updates and enhancements to the STIBO/STEP application.
- Provide end user training and guidance for new or updated features as well training for new users to the application.
Preferred (but not required) Skills and Knowledge
- Experience with Agile and Project Management tools, such as JIRA
- Experience with SQL

Qualifications
HOW YOU CAN FIT
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
- Graduation date between December 2024 to August 2025 with an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, computer science, math, engineering, or other quantitative disciplines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
