Being a Business Analyst at SAIF is a lot like playing the game “20 Questions.” To be successful takes more than guesswork. You need to know how to ask the right questions.
Business analysts are the link between our technology team and the customers we serve. They dig into data and analyze processes to determine the best approach to a problem, and then translate that information back to the developers to design a solution.
As in “20 Questions,” the answers don’t always reveal themselves immediately. It requires curiosity, persistence, critical thinking, and the ability to consider a problem from many different angles. The more information you gather, the better your chances of achieving your objective.
As a SAIF Business Analyst, you’ll work in a collaborative team environment in our information technology division. You’ll engage with business partners to identify requirements and analyze processes while also building strong, positive relationships with them. You’ll follow each phase of the project through to completion, including testing, training, and troubleshooting. In addition to asking the right questions, you’ll need the writing and speaking skills to effectively communicate your findings and recommendations.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Five or more years of business analysis and project management experience.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, computer science, engineering, economics, or related field is preferred.
