Job Description
Prescient Edge is seeking a Business Analyst II who has a clear understanding of the concepts of data management, including data governance, master data management, data quality, data analysis, and cleansing. As a Business Analyst II, you must have knowledge of Army information systems, property management, and the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS). In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, analyzing large amounts of information and data; ensuring the quality and integrity of the data creating business logic queries and reports as required to identify inaccuracies; and ensuring that inaccuracies are routed to correct business functions for resolution. You will also be responsible for applying data quality management techniques to enterprise master data across Army Information Systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify, analyze, report, and resolve data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Strong data entry skills with the ability to filter and clean up data as well as review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and external clients to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction

Job Requirements
- Minimum associate degree or ten or more years of experience can be substituted for education
- Five or more years of experience working with DoD Logistics Information Systems
- Two to three years of experience in data management functions
- One to three or more years or experience working with ERPs
- Active security clearance
- Experience working with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines in data management techniques such as research, profiling, analysis, and data cleansing
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, both internally and with external stakeholders
- Excellent computer skills, including intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables), Access, and SQL.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time efficiently
