Job Summary and Qualifications

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Proactively researches potential new urgent care locations and acquisitions in key HCA markets for business growth opportunities
• Compiles hospital market share analysis surrounding potential urgent care locations to include in business case and share with Service Line and local leadership to inform strategy
• Prepares on-demand demographic and site selection analyses including evaluation of urgent care competition, anticipated patient demographics and patient payor mix, likelihood of care coordination to HCA facilities, etc.
• Updates Salesforce platform with log of site selection activity across the enterprise and assists in prioritizing locations based on development timelines and the attractiveness of the location
• Creates maps utilizing Esri ArcMap for preliminary strategy decks on acquisitions and business cases for De Novo sites
• Assists with preliminary business case drafts for new potential urgent care locations, including a draft pro forma, for review by Service Line, PSG, Division, and periodically, Group Leadership
• Maintains urgent care competitor database through ongoing research into competitor locations, openings/closures and operations, and reports on changes and overall operational trends to Service Line leadership
• Manages process for properly requesting and tracking capital funds related to the design and construction of new centers, reports monthly on capital spend variance to budget for Service line and PSG Leadership, and requests Tenant Improvement Allowances from landlords for new locations.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree - required
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Systems or related field - preferred
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of one year previous analytical business experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent written, oral, and graphic presentation skills required
