** Description of Duties:**
The Business Analyst will provide business analysis on clinical processes, workflows, and related artifacts. The individual will contribute to project/program implementation, infrastructure, system architecture, and planning, project initiation. In addition, responsibilities include business analysis, requirements definition, systems design, systems development, system testing, systems implementation, on-going maintenance and enhancement, effective problem identification and resolution, production service and support, and systems administration support tasks to ensure computer applications will assist a department within the State of Virginia in achieving its day-to-day mission.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Implements downtime readiness procedures and internal reporting regarding system response time and internal reporting regarding system response time and service level agreements for connectivity and operational effectiveness of Health IT.
- Ensures compliance with the VITA project management standards and procedures for development, enhancement, and deployment of applications developed or procured by Health IT/CTSU to deliver services that satisfy user requirements and Health IT/CTSU.
- Requirements Elicitation/Documentation/Analysis/Tracking.
- Systems, Integration, and UAT Testing- including planning, execution, resolution, and reporting.
- Large System Implementation.
- Process Engineering and Analysis.
- Able to perform more varied and difficult tasks.
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment to obtain the best results.
- Work as a topmost trusted partner with aFit and the client.

Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, a related field or equivalent experience.
