for a top global medical device company in Marlborough, MA.
BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST- POSITION OVERVIEW:
Sales Enablement, Contracting Center of Excellence is seeking a Pricing & Contract Administrator, to support Sales field based teams. This person will be responsible for supporting aspects of pricing and contract implementation across divisions.
Support includes, but is not limited to, reporting, pricing implementation, pricing validation, forwarding thinking and business decision support. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with strong technical competencies and solution oriented. Possesses basic project management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast paced and time sensitive environment. Candidate is preferably process oriented with focus on continuous improvements to maximize effectiveness and efficiencies. In addition, ideal candidate is detail oriented and possesses excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Job Purpose: To perform tasks related to the support of Pricing and Contract Administration to meet the requirements of our client.
MUST BE LOCAL- HYBRID ROLE AND NEEDS TO BE ONSITE TUE & WED
DOES NOT DIRECTLY ENGAGE IN SOFTWARE/APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize contracting management system tools and customer relationship management tools to manage the implementation and maintenance of customer contracts. This includes, but is not limited to, initial creation and modifications.
- Work with business users to define and document detailed business requirements for project requests
- Serve as the primary facilitator of all new product launches for our clients national customers. Activities include partnering with Business Analysts to compile price submission, preparing amendments, updating the contracting system, compiling field alerts, and managing external price files for sales field use.
- Work closely with the sales organizations, customers and other members of the Sales teams, as needed, to resolve price discrepancies and issue appropriate credits related to customer contracts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Marketing or related field
- Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong organizational, communication, and the ability to adapt as required to keep pace with the speed of business
- Highly detail oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong individual management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications with intermediate Excel skills
- Medical device experience
- Exposure to Model N or other Contracting/Revenue Management system
Additional Job Specific Requirements:
- Microsoft Excel proficiency Some experience in a Data Management system preferred (i.e., SAP, Model-N, Tableau, SalesForce).
