College of Arts and Sciences is seeking (1) Business Affairs Coordinator, Senior will directly supervise the administrative specialist managerial for the Office of the Dean.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The ideal candidate for this position will manage a team of Business Service Coordinators and will be responsible for business service transactions for multiple departments originating from state, foundation, and sponsored funding expenditures in the College of Arts & Sciences. This position requires excellent customer service skills as well as a focus.
The essential duties and responsibilities are the following:
- Responsible for supervising, developing, and training a team of Business Service Coordinators (BST} within the College of Arts & Sciences.
- Support team of BST members with all business transactions for their respective portfolios. In addition, they manage their portfolio consisting of transactions resulting from state, foundation, and sponsored funding.
- All supervisory duties, including but not limited to annual appraisals, goal setting, training, and mentoring.
- Provide front-line customer service to assigned departments, including follow-ups and receipt uploads for every identified business transaction resulting from state, sponsored, and foundation funding.
- Serve as the contact person for new vendors, adding them to the University payment system(s) and being the point person to assist the vendor with paperwork.
- Responsible for all Business Service transactions, but not limited to purchasing (catalog and non-catalog), travel authorizations (employee and non-employee) and expenditures, honorariums, independent contract/consultant, guest speakers, etc.
- Maintenance and resolution for current and prior year open purchase orders for all departments under this position's purview.
- Open purchase orders that have been invoiced by vendor but not received PantherMart vouchers and invoices that have been received but not paid.
- Familiarity with university systems and practices as they relate to business services, including the university allowable cost matrix and foundation expenditures.
- Provide a standard monthly report to the department chair/director and the BST team lead.
- Require a PCard state purchasing card.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of business management experience or a combination of education and related experience.
