In the event your combined wages ($9.75 hourly rate and your earned tips) don't add up to $16, Home Run Inn will still guarantee you are paid $16 per hour.

Summary of Position:A server assistant helps the server provide a memorable restaurant experience by cleaning tables, providing water and drinks, running food as necessary, and helping the servers and managers with guest needs and cleaning.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area.
• Between seating promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop to include buffet and or bus station.
• Inspect assigned restroom in timely manner and clean as needed.
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Thank guests as they are leaving
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Clean, mop and sweep various areas as assigned. Remove Trash.
• Assist in glass washing and stock for clean glasses.
• Assist manager/bartenders with bar stock at the end of shift
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Food Handler certification
• Safety shoes
• Constantly be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Frequently be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stack weight up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must be able to work weekends and evening shifts.
