Position Details:
Title: Bus Driver- Trips/Morning/Afternoon/Evening Athleticsand Activities
Placement (location): Transportation
Supervisor: Transportation Supervisor
Contract Days: N/A
Salary Range: $20.06 to $27.48 per hour (includes annual stipend), based on previous experience
Additional Compensation: $1,000 signing bonus for eligible new hires.
Benefit Compensation: Employer-paid PERS Retirement and Health Insurance for qualifying employees.
Travel Compensation: Additional $60 for overnight trips, paid lodging, meal reimbursement, and a minimum of $25.00 per hour for short trips on weekends/holidays.
Description:
Eagle Point School District is looking for a Bus Driver who will safely transport our students to and from various events in the afternoon and evenings. The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a school bus and for ensuring the safety of the student passengers. The District will assist with the necessary licensing to join our team.
General Expectations:
Hours and days may vary; position is on-call/as needed. A $76.50 fingerprinting fee is required by law and is due at time of processing. Have an Oregon CDL or be willing to obtain CDL:

• Take 4 tests at DMV to obtain permit
• Train 15-60 hours with our transportation department (average is 30 days)
• Return to DMV to obtain CDL

Cost is approximately $138 dollars to obtain CDL. District will reimburse $138 after you have worked 60 days.
