Burn Table Operator - Nights (Wh 10)

We are seeking an experienced Burn Table Operator to join our night shift team in east Houston. The Burn Table Operator reports to the Processing Supervisor and processes quality products safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Attends all safety and training meetings as directed
• Follows and enforces all safety policies and procedures
• Verifies that equipment is correctly set up to process the material as specified on the work order and drawings
• Verifies that the material to be processed matches the work order
• Directs Crane Operators in moving material to workstations as needed
• Operates equipment in the manner in which it was intended
• Identifies equipment issues and immediately reports to Supervisor
• Assists in training of co-workers as requested
• Maintains an orderly, clean, and neat workspace
• Completes other responsibilities as directed by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience operating plasma or oxy-fuel equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read drawings and identify possible issues
• Strong math aptitude and ability to accurately utilize measuring instruments such as measuring tape and caliper
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
