Building Services Worker - Summer Seasonal

Job Description:
Hours: 6 am- 2:30 pm will consider part-time or full-time!
Assist custodial staff with cleaning residential and academic buildings. This position also assists with the cleaning of student rooms that are used for summer camps.
Duties include:

• Vacuum carpets and furniture. Sweep and mop floors.
• Rearrange furniture and bunk beds.
• Help move furniture and Custodial equipment.
• Clean carpets as needed, with a carpet extractor.
• Change light bulbs and clean fixtures.
• Wash windows and door glass. Wash walls and baseboards. Wash tables and chairs.
• Gather trash/recycling and take to the collection location.
• Operate, maintain and keep custodial equipment clean.
• Clean faucet/shower head aerators and clean drains.
• Set up and arrange tables and chairs for meetings, etc.
• Report maintenance problems to the Team Leader.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Solid dependable work ethic; works well with others. This position is fast-paced and requires walking and moving for the entire work period, except for breaks
• Must be 16 years of age to be employed by the college.
