Building Services Security Guard

Seeking a reliable and proactive individual to fill the role of On-Site Building Service Security Guard! The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility with scheduled hours, adaptability to various duties, and be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients' properties, employees, and visitors!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of the premises (day and night) to address any security risks or breaches.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect unauthorized activity (i.e. Rhombus, Ring, Siemens, JCI) and familiarity with office applications (i.e Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
• Maintain equipment audit (i.e. keys, phones, call buttons, expired badges, deliver mail)
• Verifying the credentials of individuals entering the premises (i.e Kantech badge system, keys).
• Complete thorough incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or disturbances.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries and directions.
• Handle and field incoming calls, cover front lobby when necessary (visitor badges, phone calls).
• Respond promptly to emergencies and work with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed.

• Experience working in a security-related role, preferably in a corporate or commercial environment, has a valid Security Guard license or certification issued by the appropriate regulatory agency.
• Maintain a professional appearance suitable for a corporate setting, which includes wearing a clean uniform (company shirt and dark pants) and upholding grooming standards.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion, keeping personal conversations to a minimum, particularly in lobby areas, and refraining from speaking loudly or across the lobby.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, procedures, and technologies.
• Actively participates in offering suggestions to enhance workflow efficiency.

Pay range pending.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
