SalaryEssential Functions:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the porters/maintenance team.
Job functions are listed below, but not limited to:
- Light Fixture Assembly
- Repair / paint walling, and repairs masonry, woodwork and furnishings
- Implements and receives preventative maintenance
- Completes service requests submitted by customer in a timely manner
- Preventive Maintenance and Inspections of grounds, trash and recycling removal and the cleaning of and dumpster areas
Additionally, responsible for the following:
- Informs supervisor of any pertinent issues or concerns.
- Keeps equipment clean and in good working order
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents and the achievement of safe working practices
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward customer and co-workers.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
- Must have previous supervision experience.
- Commercial and/or industrial equipment experience.
- Mechanically inclined and experienced with various hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
