SalaryPrimary Responsibilities
- Perform general Building Maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility
- Clean and maintain various areas of the building, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
Provides basic maintenance and cleaning tasks for the library building, grounds and equipment. Assists Maintenance Engineer. Work may require the employee to be outside in all seasons. Work may expose the employee to dirt, dust, and chemicals (cleaning fluids, solvents, paint, etc.). Work requires manual dexterity and mental ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning mechanical and electronic equipment. Work generally performed in accordance with established procedures, but specific instructions may be given.
