Build Technician

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking skilled Technicians to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Bothell, WA. This is an initial 5-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma and US citizenship.
• Experience in wire harness build and routing.
• Mechanical assembly history and familiarity with electrical systems and circuit boards.
• Educational background and/or experience in electronics or optics.
• Experience in assembling lasers or complex optical systems.
• Exceptional lab skills: ability to prototype, test, and debug electronics and/or optical components
• Experience in handling fiber and fiber splicing equipment.
• Experience working with, power electronics, RF, and digital circuits.
• IPC solder certification.

Desired:

• IPC-A-610.
• IPC-J-STD.
• IPC-WHMA-A-620.
