Budtender/Sales Associate

Mr. Nice Guy is a rapidly growing upscale Cannabis Company with premium retail establishments across the state. We are looking for qualified, enthusiastic retail sales associates to join our family that have a minimum of one year of retail experience.

Applicants will be interested in forming a long-term relationship with our company. Qualified candidates will be dependable, organized, motivated and passionate about their work.

A caring, considerate and enthusiastic attitude for the cannabis industry is a must.

If you do not have experience with cannabis products, we will educate you!

Working knowledge of cannabis products as well as all current California rules regulating retail and medical cannabis is a plus.

Mr. Nice Guy sales associates will be challenged by sales goals set by management. We are looking for candidates that will creatively contribute to the success and expansion of our company. This position gives a self-driven and motivated candidate room for development and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about various cannabis products, including strains, effects, consumption methods, and dosage recommendations.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products based on their preferences, desired effects, and intended usage.
• Educate customers on responsible cannabis use, potential risks, and harm reduction strategies.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cash register balance.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are well-stocked, labeled, and visually appealing.
• Assist with the inventory to monitor product levels, report shortages, and assist in receiving and stocking inventory.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide accurate information to customers.
• Follow and comply with all state and local laws and regulations governing the sale of cannabis and cannabis-related products.
• Adhere to the dispensary's policies and procedures, including security protocols, safety guidelines, and quality control standards.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical behavior in all interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification related to cannabis is a plus.
• Prior experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and effects.
• Familiarity with local and state cannabis laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Authorized to work in the United States
