Budtender/Assistant Manager

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products, CBD products, provide information about different strains and consumption methods, and ensure a positive and safe experience for all customers.

We are quality oriented here at Cheers and we strive to serve the best medicine on this side of the city. We carry a variety of local products and #1 voted CBD products.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on different strains, potency levels, and consumption methods
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance the customer's experience
- Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations
- Stock inventory and ensure shelves are organized and well-stocked
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash transactions
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Provide guidance on responsible cannabis use and harm reduction strategies

- Be on time and have reliable transportation.

- Can work good with a team and independently.

- Open availability

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling
- Familiarity with technology sales, including operating POS systems
- Knowledge in cannabis and CBD products
