Bubble Tea Barista

Gong Cha located in Chinatown Philadelphia is searching for individuals to join our team.

Be a part of our friendly team and execute the perfect drink to consistently produce a presentation of the highest standard with our products that meets our brand expectations.

Responsibility:

1. Make drinks (Bubble Tea/ slushies/ fruit tea/ waffles, etc.)
2. Taking orders and processing orders.
3. Cooking bubbles/ teas, and making toppings.
4. Store opening and closing. You will have an open/closing shift. You have to follow the store's protocols on store opening and store closing. You will be, after predetermined time, required to be independently open, and lead closing.

What we are looking for:

7. Be able to work on open shift (10AM) and closing shift (8/9PM).
8. Be a team player and be able to get along well with other team members.
9. Work experience with other Gong Cha/ Kung Fu Tea/ Vivi Bubble Tea/ TBaar / or other Bubble Tea brands is a plus.

You will develop skills such as:

-Sales! Recommend upsizing or toppings that pair well with flavors
-Stock and maintain sufficient levels of products at stations to ensure smooth service
-Operate the point-of-sale register, processing orders and accepting payments.
-Develop a positive attitude that attracts customers

You will be expected to:
-Be available to work weekends and nights.
-Be available to work any day of the week.
-Provide consistent, world-class service to every customer.
-Be reliable and on time

You will have every possible chance to move up pay grades including management positions and other opportunities.

Pay: $12 - 15 an hour

Supplemental pay: Tips & Bonus
