Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee environmental control in the Surgical Services department
- Ensure staffing with clinically competent personnel
- Manage administrative duties related to patient care
- Coordinate patient care activities with other departments
- Analyze and enhance the quality of nursing services
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current nursing license in Ohio
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of recent acute care experience, including 2 years in Surgery
- 5 years of management and/or progressive leadership responsibilities
- Experience/training in teaching is desirable
- Interest in professional nursing organizations
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
