WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Responsible for proactive daily monitoring of AML software, reviewing, investigating, and escalating all alerts.
- Promptly files Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and assists with the review and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Investigates and analyzes all member activity, including but not limited to account fraud, money laundering, active cases, ACH, subpoenas, and wires.
- Investigates positive 314(a) matches from OFAC reports and helps conduct member due diligence and gathering of CIP information.
- Supports the Specialty Banking Team with high-risk BSA & member due diligence.
- Provides training and first-level support for compliance related questions, with an emphasis on member experience related questions and focusing on supporting specialty accounts.
- Ensures compliance with associated regulations or legislation, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the USA Patriot Act.
- Responsible for maintenance, updating, and report production by using the AML software.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- BSA certification is required or must be attained within the first 6 months of employment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A minimum of one year of similar or related experience is required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be highly detail oriented.
