Broker Manager I - Personal Lines
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Private Risk Management business group. This is a hybrid role out of our Chicago office.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic people leader responsible for managing and growing our Aon Private Risk Management practice in Illinois (Chicago) and Wisconsin.
Aon Private Risk Management (APRM) designs, implements, and services customized personal risk management strategies for High-Net-Worth individuals and families.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversees assigned territory and team of client facing Account Executives.
- Overall responsibility for delivery of superior client service and upholding superior service standards.
- Drives new revenue growth for Chicago/Green Bay offices by developing and growing internal and external referral sources, which lead to new client acquisitions.
- Develop Aon IQ in order to increase inter-disciplinary and inter-departmental cross sell opportunities in order to empower results for clients.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with insurance carrier partners at a senior level.
- Attracts and retains top talent to help deliver overall excellence.
- Supports the team with career planning and development opportunities.
- Supports the team by participating in large client renewal process.
Knowledge and expertise that will lead to success:

- Experience managing people and teams.
Required Experience:
- Property & Casualty Broker’s License required.
- Appropriate insurance designations such as: CPCU, CIC, CPRM, CPRIA, CAPI or ARM completed or in process is preferred
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance and risk management.
- Experience managing and motivating people and teams.
- Technical proficiency in PC office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Proficiency in utilizing carrier management platforms and evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years industry experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $130,000 to $170,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
