Bridal Sales Consultant -an incredibly rewarding and fun job!

Fabulous Frocks Bridal Shreveport is on the hunt for the perfect person to join our team! We offer brides a memorable intimate shopping experience and are looking for someone who is exceptional, driven, fashion minded and has a love of serving people.

What we offer brides is not normal retail as we are trained stylists who work one on one with our clients to help them find their dream wedding dress. If you have a love for specialized retail and high end sales, this is the job for you!

As a Bridal Sales Consultant, you will work directly with brides from the moment they contact Fabulous Frocks for an appointment to the day they say “I Do”!

This is a selling job, meaning the compensation listed is hourly + sales-basedcommission = the range listed of $14-$19 an hour. The pay is dependent on sales so we cannot tell you what you will make, the sky is the limit and will be completely up to you.

Job Requirements

• Answering phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner *this is extremely important and often our clients first interaction with the boutique
• Maintaining a fashionable, professional image
• Must possess the desire to learn about all things bridal from designers to local vendors *trends are always evolving, so you must be ready to learn because there is always something new to learn about the bridal industry
• Exhibit a warm and professional attitude while providing exceptional service
• Be punctual *appointments can’t start on time if you aren’t
• Be comfortable with retail sales *this job requires a lot of talking so you must enjoy small talk
• Follow up with potential clients
• Assist with social media posts and blog posts
• Assist with planning in store events and promotions
• Form relationships with local wedding vendors
• Store maintenance, housekeeping *yes, this includes cleaning, gown unboxing and steaming
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes and stand on your feet for longer periods of time *you will be standing and walking a lot as most appointments run 90 minuets long
• Independent worker -you must be the type of person who enjoys getting things done and is self-motivated and detail-oriented

Weekends are REQUIRED!

Retail work experience is a plus.
