About the Company

The Pink Poodle Dress Lounge is Detroit’s premier wedding dress shop now located on the East and West sides of Detroit on Jefferson Chalmers and Avenue of Fashion on Livernois & 7 Mile. This company is looking to strengthen its brand and increase awareness of its products and services throughout the metro area and national markets.

Compensation

● Full or Part Time at $15 an hour

Qualifications

● 2 years of bridal experience.

● Articulate, creative, and compassionate.

● Customer service and communication skills.

● Styling expertise and knowledge of the latest bridal trends.

● Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

● Ability to work independently, goal-oriented with the ability to work as a team and reflect a problem-solving attitude.

● Excellent etiquette at all times with professional and poised appearance.

● Able to safely lift at least 20 pounds with the exception of verifiable disability.

Responsibilities

● Responsible for assisting brides, women, and young ladies in finding their perfect wedding, prom or formal dresses by providing expert styling advice, exceptional customer service, and sales associate.

● Assist ladies with trying on dresses with respect as handling with care.

● Daily, complete appointment related tasks to properly prepare for upcoming appointments ensuring attention to details and customer service.

● Responsible for meeting sales goals, scheduling appointments, and maintaining shop cleanness by cleaning, swiping and dusting.

● Administrative support tasks for telephone, cash register, tracking, transferring, inventory, and shipping and receiving.

● Learn store inventory and wedding fashion to educate our guests on our designers, styles, fits, fabric, and material.

● Weekly styling shop mannequins and maintain dress rack throughout the day.

● Marketing/promotions/social media/styled shoot content and activities.

● 10% travel for bridal shows, pop ups, campaigns.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
