As a Bricklayer, you will play a vital role in executing daily brickwork, blockwork, and stonework tasks on commercial projects. Responsibilities:
- Perform bricklaying, blocklaying, and stonework tasks according to project plans and specifications.
- Ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and quality in all masonry work performed.
- Collaborate with project supervisors and team members to plan and organize masonry tasks.
- Safely operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines for timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may affect the progress of masonry work.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in masonry required.
- Proficiency in working with hand & power tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Highly organized and self-directed.
- Critical thinker and proactive problem solver.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player.
- Ideally bilingual, which is a strong plus.
