Job Summary:
Breckenridge Ski Resort is looking for a highly motivated and passionate people leader. As Assistant Manager of Transportation and Parking in Breckenridge you will work directly with the Sr. Manager to lead a team of approx. 40 employees in operational excellence, safety, and service. The department works in partnership with the Town of Breck transportation and parking departments to offer reliable bus transportation and exceptional parking lot service. This creates the first connection point for our employees and guests in creating an experience of a lifetime.
Further focus is required on the culture, development, and training of all transportation and parking staff. This position will directly lead and influence our teams to provide exemplary guest service, and drive results through an employee engagement-focused management style. The safety of our team will be a top priority, as you will be overseeing local and federal DOT operations. Job Specifications

• Expected Pay Range: $56,000-$75,625
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for hiring, training, and leading of all department personnel.
• Reinforce our responsibility and high standards of safety and service to all team members.
• Create and maintain schedule within budget restrictions.
• Oversee a comprehensive and consistent safety program and meetings.
• Oversee transportation leads and drivers.
• Cultivate a culture of employees first, guest experience, and operational excellence.
• Administer random drug testing program.
• Responsible for all related administrative duties.
• Establish and maintain strong interdepartmental and stakeholder communications
• Provide coaching, conduct staff reviews, and staff development
• Help generate excitement among teams by supporting resort initiatives and programs
• Act as manager on duty when assigned
• Maintain a high level of appreciation for guest satisfaction
• Responsible for department payroll review and exception management as required
• Maintain and adhere to all USDOT/FMCSA regulations as they pertain to the operation of Commercial Motor Vehicles
• Support and facilitate the creation and maintenance of Driver Qualification files to be compliant with USDOT/FMCSA regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Required:

• Prior management or supervisory experience
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to deliver a great employee and guest experience at all times
• Able to work in a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a ground transportation environment
• CDL Class B/P2 driver's license; or able to attain

The expected pay range is $56,000-$75,625. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
