Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with customers throughout their meal
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with food preparation as needed
Requirements:
- Five years of contineous waiter/waitress experience
- Some bartending skills would be a benefit
- Ability to multitask
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basset Certificate and Food handliers Certificate are required each are good for 5 years
- Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on guest services and drink preparation
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
