Breakfast Cook Job Summary
Our restaurant is looking for an experienced Breakfast/Lunch Cook to join our busy Culinary team. In this position, you will review the pre-set menu so that you understand the offerings, utilize a variety of cooking techniques, plate the food, and hand it off to a waiter. You must follow all instructions from the head chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and that customers are satisfied with their order. Our perfect candidate has significant food production and culinary experience. While a culinary arts degree is not essential, formal training is a plus. Hours are Sundays 9am-6pm. And potentially Saturdays and other days in the week if desired.
Breakfast/Lunch Cook Duties and Responsibilities
Prep ingredients for the day
Accept orders from the wait staff
Prepare dishes in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
Keep track of inventory
Breakfast/Lunch Cook Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Culinary arts degree (Preferred)
Cooking and food preparation experience
Strong communication and time management skills
