Holiday Inn at the Campus has an immediate opening for a breakfast attendant/banquet attendant. Role will consist of 3 to 5 shifts a week. Days of the week will vary based on business trends. Weekends are required. Shifts times vary based on events and occupancy.
Breakfast Attendant/Banquet Server Responsibilities:
- Assembling the breakfast buffet before mealtime and disassembling it thereafter.
- Ensuring that the breakfast items remain well-stocked at all times.
- Providing customers with condiments upon request.
- Clearing cutlery and crockery from customers' tables.
- Resolving customers' queries and complaints.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping the floors after each meal service.
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables and countertops after each meal service.
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Greet guests and assist with seating arrangements
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
- Clear tables and clean banquet rooms after events
- Assist with event breakdown and clean-up as needed
Breakfast Attendant/Banquet Server Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills.
- Attentive to detail.
- Friendly, service-driven disposition.
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
