As the Breakfast Attendant at Pierre Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests by ensuring that they have a pleasant dining experience during breakfast service. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, replenishing food items, and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $14 to $16 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast buffet according to brand standards and maintain its cleanliness throughout service hours
- Ensure an adequate supply of food, beverages, and utensils at all times
- Replenish food items in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor food temperatures and freshness, discarding items that do not meet safety standards
- Greet guests and assist with any special requests or dietary restrictions
- Clear tables and clean up spills to maintain a clean and inviting breakfast area
- Assist with inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and hotel staff to ensure a smooth breakfast service
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
