The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for greeting and seat guests, daily set-up and breakdown of continental breakfast buffet, preparation and presentation of all buffet items as well as clearing dishes and clean up of the breakfast area in a 55 room hotel.
We are seeking applicants for a part-time position + some shifts on an on-call basis. Estimated 15 hours per week with opportunities to work additional shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service environment, ideally in hospitality
- Great customer service skills
- Basic food handling knowledge
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Excellent oral communications skills required
- Must speak English fluently. Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Food Handler's Permit
Responsibilities
- Daily set up and breakdown of breakfast buffet
- Daily preparation and presentation of all buffet items both hot and cold food.
- Warmly greet and acknowledge all guests who enter the breakfast dining area
- Ensure that the breakfast buffet bar stays fresh and fully restocked during breakfast period
- Maintain the appearance and safety of breakfast dining area
- Clearing and clean dishes from tables
- Prepare and clean breakfast area for next day's service
