Ensure all guests feel at home and create a warm and welcoming environment. Responsible for preparing and serving the daily complimentary breakfast bar, greeting each guest and ensuring guests are satisfied.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, standardized and full-looking manner. Keep area organized and clean, and replenish depleted items
- Take inventory of food and beverage and supplies needed for each day. Order or purchase food supplies.
- Prepare various food items as needed.
- Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products.
- Clear and clean vacated tables.
- Wash equipment and return it to storage. Return reusable food to storage.
- Respond to all guest requests for additional breakfast items, hotel information, directions, and any other assistance.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Abilities Required
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 50 lbs., on a continuous schedule.
