Bread Baker/Cook

Boulangerie at Chefs de France in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is seeking an artisan baker for our French bakery shop located in the heart of Central Florida’s premier theme park. Our state-of-the-art facility follows a 30 year tradition of providing authentic French bakery products to our guests.

Job Summary

Prepare and bake breads according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods. Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures. Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management. Follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Our requirements:

• 1-3 years Experience baking breads from scratch
• Knowledgeable of the different steps of the baking process including, but not limited to, scaling and mixing, dividing and shaping, and baking bread and viennoiseries
• Commitment to and appreciation for producing top quality products
• Ability to work in a high volume facility
• Hold sanitation and safety certification or be willing to obtain
• Able to work morning shifts, weekends, and holidays

Additional Requirements

• Comply with quality expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
