Title/Role: Associate Brand Manager
Work Location: Broomfield, CO 80021
Duration: 4-5 month contract
Job Summary:
- Seeking an experienced strategic marketer, who can quickly adapt to new environments and teams, who has a passion to help rebuild a large global brand, and the persistence to bring new ideas to reality – and combines all of this with solid business acumen, strength in analytics and strategic thinking, and P&L management.
- We need someone who can hit the ground running quickly to help manage day to day business needs such as weekly and monthly business reporting, budget management, and supporting larger marketing and media activations across the consumer media landscape (social, website, promotions, marketing activations), as well as provide day to day project management support on longer term strategic projects that are on rapidly accelerated timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as voice of the business by leading data analytics and reporting efforts; performing consumer, customer, and competitive analysis; monitoring key performance metrics; and managing ad-hoc requests; ensuring a laser-like focus on results and opportunities to improve.
- Responsible for P&L oversight, weekly & monthly budget management, forecasting and GPS/demand planning with guidance from Manager.
- Aggregate market, customer, and consumer insights to help inform the annual brand planning process.
- Assist with the development and execution of national marketing programs across the marketing and media landscape including social and digital, website, PR, activations, etc.
- Help lead communications with agency partners in the creative development and execution of high impact activations, promotions, and packaging projects.
- Contribute strong POV on media strategies and consumer targeting to guide tactical planning efforts.
- Build and execute meaningful and robust Shopper and Consumer Promotion Marketing programs with Sales team to activate key campaigns instore & online.
- Lead development of strategic selling stories and sales materials to help support sell-in of key projects and marketing programs with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support packaging design development and implementation processes on large-scale brand packaging launch projects
- Serve as the “hub-of-the wheel” to drive cross-functional project initiatives and build effective relationships with key internal and external partners.
- This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate & inspire a cross functional team, agency partners and to create a high performing team.
Experience:
- You will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA strongly preferred.
- You have 4+ years Brand Marketing/Product/Innovation and P&L management experience.
- Large CPG Experience highly preferred
- Comfort with Ambiguity and an Entrepreneurial Spirit: you act as a business owner to take initiative and drive clarity on path forward for team/leadership and can pivot strategy as needed due to changing dynamics internally and externally.
- You have a passion for building brands and proven track-record of breakthrough consumer advertising and activation.
- You are action-oriented with the ability to learn quickly, think and react with urgency to react to changing circumstances.
- You have project management skills and are an effective collaborator to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams to accomplish brand goals, objectives, and key initiatives.
- You are agile and can flex responsibilities to accommodate changing business needs.
- You have a strong track record showcasing strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to translate vision and strategy into concrete actions.
- Must have robust experience working with syndicated data sources (IRI/Nielsen) to make informed, data-backed decisions and recommendations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of consumer research methodologies and results analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
