Job Description
Sprecher Craft Beverages of Milwaukee, WI is aggressively expanding its business in New England and is looking for a motivated, energetic Brand Representative who lives in the Boston area. This individual will be a “pioneer” in expanding the availability and visibility of our Craft Soda, Energy, and Lemonade brands through Independent and UDS accounts. The sales area includes Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with your distributor partners, identify and then sell to key retailers by creating new distribution, expanding current distribution, doing retailor merchandising, and building promotions on a daily basis.
- Establishing “share of mind” with our distributor partners by regular interaction, ride withs, and value-added efforts with our distributors and retailers’ businesses.
- Schedule and conduct monthly sales meetings with distributors to present programs, new items and marketing initiatives.
- Function as a “local marketer” by regular engagement on social media platforms.
- Measure yourself daily against your number of retail calls, number of new placements, number of sold cases, and amount of increased visibility in the marketplace.
- Be a leader- Act as a pioneer of our brands in this area by creating innovative ideas and initiatives that will grow our business. Be creative and unconventional. Think of ways our brands can break through the clutter at retail.
- Effectively manage the tools and resources you are given to sell. You will be set up for success!
- Have fun! Soda, Lemonade, and Energy drinks are “fun for you” products. You have the authority and are expected to make our consumers, retailers, and distributors not just enjoy our beverages but to identify with our brands.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Business or related field required.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with customers and distributors.
- Sound knowledge of sales techniques and industry standards.
- Self-directed, personally motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and any/all established processes, whether established by a manager, by the company or by law.
- Must work in a safe manner and comply with all health, safety, security and emergency requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to perform all essential functions and physical demands of the job.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 75 lbs.
- Have a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
- Ability to sit at a desk or drive in a car for long periods of time.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to continuously be active including but not limited to: walking, stooping, bending, reaching and crouching.
