Job Title: Brand Ambassador 2024 U.S. Open Golf
Status: Contractor
Availability: June 6th-June 17th
Pay rate: $19-22/hour
Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.
This is a dynamic opportunity to be on-site at the 2024U.S. Open, located at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club, 80 Carolina Vista Drive, Pinehurst, NC 28374. The event runs from June 6th through June 17th.
Position Summary:
As a Brand Ambassador, you will be representing one of Winston’s clients at this location. The main focus is sales generation, customer service, and maintaining the best visual presentation while handling a fast-paced environment. This role requires you to follow the dress code of Khaki or navy-blue bottoms and you will be provided with a Brand top to be worn during the event.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet each customer in a warm and friendly manner and interact with the customer as they enter the store
- Determine the customers’ needs and give them product features and benefits
- Keep the sales floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked
- Unpack, hang/fold merchandise, and secure security tags when needed
- Adhere to the work schedule, and commit to the duration of the project
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience as a sales associate with an apparel, accessory, or footwear company
- Engaging personality with a passion for golf (preferred)
- Goal-driven, with an ability to multi-task
- Exemplary customer service and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift to at least 25 pounds and stand on feet for the entire shift
- Technology: A smartphone is required for reporting purposes; tablets are not recommended. For iOS users, we recommend an iPhone 6 or greater and iOS 12.0 or greater. For Android users, we recommend devices no more than 5 years old and updated to Android OS 9.0 or greater.
