Job Description
The Branch Manager (BBM) oversees the Branch and Field Operations for West Coast Event Productions Bend office and is responsible for managing the people and processes that deliver, set up and strike (disassemblesand removes) Company inventory utilized for events.
This position is directly supervised by the Company President. This position supervises field and warehouse personnel.
This position also works collaboratively with West Coast Event Productions Portland (WCEP) sales and Operations personnel, to ensure the effective delivery of WCEP’s Bend events.
Primary Responsibilities
· Responsible for all office functions, sales/client interactions and day-to-day operations
· Salesperson for the branch
· Point of contact for all clients
· Follow up on requests made by phone, web site and walk-ins
· Update all contracts
· Follow up on emails
· Receive and process all payments
· Manage Accounts Receivable
· Ensure deposits are made in a timely manner
· Marketing / outreach (ie. Monthly emails blasts)
· Attend all site evaluations/consults/mock-ups in Bend area, or coordinate with Portland staff, as appropriate
· Hire, lead and supervise the employees and manage the processes that pull, load and unload equipment for efficient and accurate delivery and inventory storage
· Assist with sets/strikes to help maintain labor costs and oversee events in progress
· Establish, monitor and enforce timeliness for field crews
· Must be in the field for large events
· Efficient set up of events with specific attention to labor efficiency
· Manage inventory to support sales and minimize subrental costs and storage related damage
· Supervise staff and all operations to achieve safety and productivity goals and to adhere to all applicable laws
· Provide leadership to event set up crews
· Ensure quality delivery of events
· Completes reviews of warehouse and field staff
· Be a role model for WCEP values
General Job Duties
· Carry out the policies and directives of the company

· Suggest and resource new inventory and equipment based on client need, price, delivery and stock levels
· Ensure event paperwork is complete and accurate
· Pull/prep all linen and catering
· Linen cleaning (contract with service and ensure all counts are correct from job sites to cleaner and then back to warehouse and restocked)
· Schedule dish cleaning (transport dishes to a local school in exchange for rental trade credit)
· Update trade log
· Promote and practice Safety in all aspect of event delivery and setup
· Assist with hiring, training and developing Event Leads in:
· Safety
· Effective crew and time management
· Customer service – including introductions and final walk through procedures
· Material handling
· Lift certification
· Company software (Point of Rental -POR)
· Promote cross training and development of all operations staff to build efficiency and team atmosphere
· Establish, monitor and enforce timeliness for field crews
· Suggest ideas, themes or other creative possibilities to meet client needs
· Suggest and resource new inventory and equipment based on client need, price, delivery and stock levels
· Effective communication with customers and will serve as a role model in providing world class customer service
· Ensures event paperwork is complete, accurate and timely
· Contract review and negotiation
· Assist with financial analysis as requested
· Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Knowledge:
Understanding of the organization and structure of the Company; possess technical familiarity with the events industry in terms of equipment, techniques, supplies, event management, and event sales; of safety practices and hazard identification.
Skills:
Event production; effective/efficient time management; customer communications techniques; solid computer skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Work and Education Requirements
· 3+ year of experience in Operations and/or Project Management with a successful track record.
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
