Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
Key Performance Areas
As the Branch Administrator, you will be responsible for performing administrative services for the Elko, NV location, which may include office clerical and support services and customer service. You will be responsible for answering customer requests and questions, and will be the first point of contact for visitors to the facility. This role will also support local management's administrative needs, including scheduling of meetings and arranging travel.
Additionally, the Branch Administrator will:
- Answer and direct phone calls and messages within range of knowledge and authority
- Provide general reception services and support to visitors
- Follow up on orders as requested
- Handle various arrangements, supplies and support for meetings, training classes and other functions
- Book travel arrangements and accommodations for visitors, and personnel as required
- Order office supplies to ensure proper inventory
- Organize minor maintenance and repair of building
- Provide general clerical support including accounts payable/receivable, mail distribution, processing of credit applications and data entry
Your Profile
The Branch Administrator should possess a minimum of two years related experience in HR and business management systems preferred. A high school degree or GED is required, with a college degree a plus. You are personable and approachable, and maintain a positive work environment in all situations. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, strong organizational and time management skills. You are a detail oriented multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritize work in a high paced environment. You work well under pressure and with minimal supervision. You are team player, with a strong customer focus and dedication to providing top notch customer service.
Candidates should also possess:
- Strong administrative skills including keyboarding and data entry
- Ability to use general office equipment (fax, scanner, copier, etc)
- High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP systems with a plus
