The Chassis Control Product Division develops innovative solutions for active driving safety. As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, Robert Bosch LLC has made its Farmington Hills and Plymouth Michigan facilities the headquarters for its North American automotive businesses. These facilities house more than 1,700 associates who are dedicated to developing advanced safety systems, improving relationships with our customers, and furthering Bosch's technologies.
Within Chassis Controls, we are responsible for the "in-vehicle" calibration/testing of the Electronic Stability Control device (ABS/TCS/ESP/ESC/ACC/ADAS) and the Electronic Brake Booster (Vacuum free brake boost and ADAS) which both manage vehicle movement and motion during safety critical situations as well as highly automated driving. We work side by side with Function and Performance Developers within the USA and globally across many Bosch/Customer locations. We are in regular contact with our customers and actively work with them in their prototype vehicles to develop, refine, and validate their systems and requirements at test facilities around the world.
In the end, our department delivers the calibration, software, and technical project leadership to achieve our customer targets. We deliver on our commitment to the customer and support their vision for the future of mobility.
