Form of workCreswell School District is seeking Boys JV 2 Basketball Coach to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell High School. Position open until filled. Applicant screening begins immediately.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school GraduatePrevious basketball experience as a coach or competitorSkills in working positively with adolescentsGood communication skillsSuccessful completion of fingerprint screeningPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIESTeach fundamentals of basketballSupervise practices and gamesWork cooperatively with other coaches to develop young athletes potentialGENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITYAssume a supervisory and teaching role with athletesSupervise and coach sub-varsity players in practice and game settingsAssist the head coach in development of the programQUALIFICATIONS DESIREDBackground knowledge of basketball and teachingFamiliarity with programs and athletes at Creswell High SchoolCoaching Stipends paid at the end of the season.
Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.
