Position Title: Youth Program Instructor
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Pay: $15/per hour
Shift Schedule: Part-Time 3pm - 7pm (20 hours per week)

We are seeking a passionate and committed Part-Time Youth Program Instructor to join our non-profit
organization and help make a positive difference in the lives of disadvantaged youth in our community. In this
role, you will be responsible for teaching life skills and citizenship to youth in a fun and engaging way, while
creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead engaging activities and lessons for youth that promote life skills, such as first aid, communication, problem-solving, literacy, self-care, social skills responsibility and teamwork, as well as citizenship and community involvement.
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive youth development, and builds self-esteem and resilience.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with youth, families, volunteers, and community partners.
Collaborate with program staff to ensure program objectives are met, and program activities align with our mission and values.
Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure that the program is aligned with the organization's vision and goals.
Qualifications:
Experience working with youth, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to create and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities and lessons.
Flexibility to work in the afternoon and some evenings.
Register as a leader with Las Vegas Area Council, BSA. Registration includes passing a background check and completing Youth Protection Training.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Dependable transportation with vehicle and liability insurance.
