Job Responsibilities/Duties:
· Inspects all incoming shipments for paperwork discrepancies, quality and damages
· Visually examines all carriers delivering and picking up at the facility
· Unloads and loads trucks for incoming and outbound shipments
· Maintains inventory of components
· Labels incoming components when received
· Delivers paperwork to appropriate personnel as required
· Places incoming raw materials and components into specific locations
· Preserves a clean and safe work area
· Pulls components for use in production
· Returns unused components from production back to inventory
· Stages and prepares finished product for outbound shipments
· Fills and operates cardboard baler and recycling bins
· Adheres to company policy for PPE
Job Requirements:
· Ability to drive and use industrial equipment like pallet jacks and stand up forklifts is preferred
· Knowledge and use of Good Manufacturing Practices
· Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication division
· Ability to work with and understand computers or tablets
Experience:
· Minimum one year experience in a warehouse environment preferred
· Ability to drive and use industrial equipment like pallet jacks and stand up forklifts is preferred
Physical Demands:
· Able and willing to stand, bend, twist, squat as necessary for long periods of time
· Willing and able to lift 50lbs frequently
· Work extended hours when needed
