Bookseller/Customer Service Full Time

Barbara's Bookstore is hiring a Full Time bookseller for our Woodfield Mall Book Store. Responsibilities include:

• cleaning, organizing shelves, inventory management and working the cash register.
• Interacting with customers in a thoughtful and friendly manner.

Requirements include:

• Our ideal candidate will possess a love of reading and the willingness to share their enthusiasm with our customers.
• Previous bookstore experience a plus, retail experience a must.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (books are heavy).
• Flexible schedule, evening, weekend and holiday availability is essential.
• Effective communication skills and a good work ethic.
