Qualifications (minimum education, licensure, and/or experience):
- Knowledgeable of general accounting and bookkeeping practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with students, peers, staff, and parents in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and comply with requirements of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Job Expectations:
- Covers the reception area and provides support as needed
- Manages daily accounts receivable and payable functions for school
- Prepares monthly reports generated by school financial software (Skyward SBAA)
- Keeps all school accounts current and accurate for audit review
- Prepares requisitions and correspondence
- Orders equipment and supplies
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor (faculty newsletters, substitute coverage/procedures)
- PowerPoint, etc.
Qualifications (minimum education, licensure, and/or experience):
- Post-secondary training in office/business administration desired; A.S. preferred
- Three to five years' experience in an office environment or equivalent
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, experience in Skyward financial systems a plus
