Reporting to the two owners. The candidate ensures that the accounting, purchasing, office administration and basic HR functions of the company are handled so that the owners can focus on growing the company with profitable sales and product development.
The first priority of the candidate is to enter data, record financial transactions, and maintain the
General Ledger to track sales, invoice customers. collect money, track customer deposits, issue purchase orders, track costs, review and pay supplier invoices, manage payroll, and ensure that sales, payroll, and income taxes are recorded correctly and paid.
The candidate will be expected to prepare weekly reports (AR, AP, P&L, Balance sheet, Cash Flow,
Inventory, Open Sales Orders, &PO’s) and analysis for the owners to use to make decisions to manage the business.
The candidate will have a key role in communicating with the company’s banks and CPA.
As Office Manager, the candidate will be present and ensure the smooth running of our office on a day- to-day basis by supporting and directing our customer service employees, ensure that customer orders are entered and shipped, that sales reps are contacted, and customer inquiries are followed up with.
The candidate, working with the two owners, will be responsible for dealing with correspondence, maintaining office supplies, equipment (phones, printers, computers) functions, housekeeping is done, and doors are locked and unlocked according to the established schedule.
The candidate is expected to help our business become more efficient and productive by participating in the development and implementation of procedures and systems to support our sales process.

Experience required for this position;
? Accounting certification or equivalent business degree.
? At least three years in a similar position.
? Must speak, write and read English proficiently. Speaking Spanish would be an asset.
? Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
