- An Upper Bucks County law firm has an immediate opening for a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the firm (accounts payable, billing, escrow accounts and banking)
- All data entry and maintenance of the company's financial software program (QuickBooks Online)
- Prepare monthly client invoices using Clio software
- Accounts payable reporting including vendor payment and reconciliations
- Journal entry posting and account reconciliations
- Financial analysis on a monthly basis and when called upon for special projects
- Provide backup to administrative functions and others as required
- Assist managing attorney with posting/distributing settlement funds
- Open and close files
- Greet clients and answer telephones
- Manage and purchase office equipment and supplies
Qualifications:
- 3 years of qualified bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of maintaining escrow accounts
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong client, and vendor service skills
- Ability to communicate with clients, co-workers, and others professionally, effectively, and efficiently
- Possess excellent organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently
- Familiarity with Clio software preferred
- Current Pennsylvania Notary Public is a plus
