We are currently seeking a diligent, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This person will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. In addition, they will need to display strong customer service skills, helping ensure the satisfaction and retention of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
Review and correct any discrepancies in invoices and payments from the previous day.
Ensure invoices from prior day are correctly batched.
Follow up on unresolved payments and execute collection processes as necessary.
Deposit all check, credit card, and cash payments and reconcile with our records in QuickBooks.
Manage monthly and annual auto-renewals of our Advantage Plan Subscription.
Handle payment submissions and funding for financing vendors.
Assist in managing the Advantage Plan membership, including setting up appointments, recognizing revenue, and forfeiting plan revenue as necessary.
Accounts Payable:
Adhere to the company's Purchase Order Policy.
Check the accuracy of purchase orders, packing slips, and vendor statements, and enter bills timely and accurate.
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy.
Track credits for warranty returns and manage weekly check runs.
Accurately account for prepaid expenses in the appropriate periods.
Payroll:
Review and approve timesheets for accuracy.
Manage payroll processes each pay period, administering bonuses as needed.
General:
Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis.
Manage monthly payments for Advantage Plan Memberships.
Carry out timely and accurate month-end closing procedures.
Handle inventory analysis & review and analysis of employee expenditures.
Manage and maintain the company's accounting software.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
