We are seeking a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
As a Bookkeeper, you will provide excellence by:
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
Process and prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and standards.
Prepare documentation for audits and assist in the audit process.
Expected Work Hours and Time Zone
You are expected to work 40 hours a week, Mondays to Fridays, with flexibility to work US Pacific time 10AM to 7PM (with a 1-hour break time in between). You may also be expected to work on occasional weekends due to business needs.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field preferred
At least 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or a similar capacity
Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures (US GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency, speed, and accuracy in written communication.
Fluency, clarity, and good diction in English
Great organizational skills & time management abilities
Experience using customer communication tools (Zendesk), task management tools, Google Drive, and Email.
Detail-Oriented - we’re a financial services company so being correct about the details matter
