ABC Fire Equipment Corp. is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our office team! We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience and is familiar with accounting software QuickBooks Enterprise.

Bookkeeper duties to include but not limited to:
- A/R, Light A/P
- Deposits/Posting Payments (high volume)
- Tallying of Daily Commission Sheets
- Reporting Payroll
- Sales Tax and Month End Reporting
- Bank Account Reconciliation in QB (and manual)
- Petty Cash
- Credit Card Processing
- Tax Exempt Certificates
- New Hire- Vacation/PTO Tracking
Candidate must have:
- Proven bookkeeping experience (QB preferred)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong sense of Urgency and Customer Focus
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc)
- Strong organizational skills
- Multi-tasking ability
