Bookkeeper

ABC Fire Equipment Corp. is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our office team! We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience and is familiar with accounting software QuickBooks Enterprise.

Bookkeeper duties to include but not limited to:

• A/R, Light A/P
• Deposits/Posting Payments (high volume)
• Tallying of Daily Commission Sheets
• Reporting Payroll
• Sales Tax and Month End Reporting
• Bank Account Reconciliation in QB (and manual)
• Petty Cash
• Credit Card Processing
• Tax Exempt Certificates
• New Hire- Vacation/PTO Tracking

Candidate must have:

• Proven bookkeeping experience (QB preferred)
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong sense of Urgency and Customer Focus
• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc)
• Strong organizational skills
• Multi-tasking ability

Compensation: Starting $18.00-$21.00
